Hello all, here we go! My family is so good at this, I must say I'm a bit intimidated!



Alex and I just returned from our two week Florida ADVENTURE. We were scheduled to go to Florida with my girlfriend and her two kids on April 16 via Skybus Airlines. Skybus, however, ceased operations on April 5th, leaving us high and dry in the transportation department. To further complicate matters, Alex & I were planning to drive to NC with Steve so we could be with his nephew and witness his graduation from the Army Q Course and become a Green Beret. As a result, we decided to put Steve on a plane home from NC and Alex & I continued to drive South. My girlfriend and her kids purchased additional airline tickets and flew to Tampa, Florida where Alex & I picked them up. We had a great time and Alex was a fabulous passenger. I could not have been more proud of my daughter! My girlfriends kids are 6 and 3. The 2 day drive home to New England as nothing short of an ADVENTURE. Thank God for GPS navigators and portable DVD players, that's all I've got to say! - trish
