Alex started third grade on August 26, 2008. She is doing well and really likes her teacher, Miss Lunan. After school Alex goes to a sitter, Annette (or Netty) two or three times a week. The other days (so far) daddy has been able to get home in time for meet Alex off the bus. She is such a mature girl this year. She is still playing tennis once a week but getting ready to take a break for the year. This winter Alex is going to give skiing and indoor soccer a whirl. We bought a helmet (for skiing - but maybe soccer too) this weekend. I hear they ski even faster than I did when I was a kid. Helmets are almost a requirement (well as far as Alex is concerned they are).
